The Chelmsford Historical Commission was established
under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40 Section 8D
and is comprised of three to seven members.
All are volunteers who are appointed by the Town Manager, and approved by the Board of Selectmen for a 3-year term.
The mission
of the Chelmsford Historical Commission is to preserve, protect and develop public
awareness of Chelmsford's historical assets.
